Hot & Healthy

With the change in the weather, spring fever is upon us. College students everywhere are graduating beginning their internships and hopefully having a good romp in the sack. This summer, spice up a picnic with some natural vegan aphrodisiacs. All you need is a picnic basket, some bear-repellent and the following fun foods:
[salad]Licorice
Pine nuts
Avocado and tomato salad
(Vegan) Chocolate covered bananas
After that’s over, between the weather and the food, you’ll be ready to get sweaty with your partner. Act like the K9s-in-heat that you are and do it doggy-style. Extra points if you’re still outside on the picnic blanket.

SADA Senior Showcase

Editors’ Note: You know Jordan Barnes as TBG’s Sex and Health editor, but he is also a co-chair of SADA’s advertising and public relations committee. That’s how he got the scoop on this story.

After four years of following MSU’s Apparel and Textile Design program, I am graduating, along with people I have grown to call my friends. The Student Apparel Design Association’s (SADA) annual fashion show has been one of the highlights of my year. While I have served as a model, helped backstage and watched from the audience, this will be my first year in the front row. This year’s senior SADA members have a wide range of talent including all types of aesthetics and even several who completed associate’s degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. The SADA annual fashion show will take place Saturday, April 18 at 8 pm. Tickets will go on sale soon. This year’s theme is “Lights, Camera, Fashion.” The Big Green asked the out-going seniors a few questions about themselves and their responses are as follows.

[cosmo]Next, you can please whats south of your own border with the Cosmo sex position “The Sensual Spoon” and a ready and willing partner. Every couple knows how to assume the spoon: Lie on your side with the male behind you. Both torsos should stay in that position and the female should lift her top leg. The male then shifts his lower body into a half-kneeling position, entering from behind.

This recipe makes six burgers (so you’ll have plenty of leftovers) and takes about 20 minutes. You’ll need a frying pan, wooden spoon, food processor, large bowl and a spatula.

Ingredients
1/2 c almonds, finely chopped
1 t coriander, ground
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c onion
1 c fennel or celery
3/4 c cilantro
1 1/2 c black beans, cooked or canned
1 c bread crumbs
1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and minced
2 T toasted wheat germ or untoasted rolled oats
1/4 t cloves, ground
1/2 t salt
black pepper
1 1/2 t olive oil

Directions
Heat almonds and coriander in dry frying pan over medium-high heat, stirring or shaking constantly, until almonds are lightly toasted, about one minute.
Food process garlic, onion, fennel/celery, and cilantro until finely chopped, add beans, and pulse repeatedly until chopped but not liquidized. Transfer to bowl and mix in almond mixture, bread crumbs, bell pepper, wheat germ, and spices. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Shape into six patties with floured hands, adding more bread crumbs if necessary.
Fry in 1 1/2 T oil over medium-high heat until crust forms, about three minutes per side.

After popping in a breath mint or two, grab your partner and try this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine position of the month, the Figure Eight.
[Cosmo]The female should lay on the floor face-up with a couple of pillows propping her butt. Keep her knees half bent, her legs splayed wide, and her arms high over your head or holding on to his side (as in the picture) — so that her body is extremely open. The male should enter at a higher angle than usual (the pillows will help), planting his hands on the floor beside your head. He should move inside her with slow, languid figure-eight motions, so that she feel his whole package — his penis plus pubic region. Remember: The figure-eight motion is key to this maneuver.

Then after chilling out with some egg nog, heat it up with this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine sexual position, the Torrid Triangle, putting a spin on the typical missionary position. [cosmo]
The man should get on all fours, so that the female can raise her pelvis to meet him, putting the female in control of the movement and the speed of the trusts.

2 c onion, chopped
2 c celery, chopped
1-2 t salt
pepper
3 t sage
3 t thyme
1 t marjoram
1 t rosemary
½ c fresh parsley, chopped

4 c green apples, chopped
1½ c raisins (optional)
1½ c lightly toasted walnuts, minced
2 c vegetable stock

Preheat oven to 350.
In the bowl, combine bread, apples, raisins, and walnuts. Stir in onion mixture until well combined.
Toss with half of the stock and check consistency – you want the stuffing to be moist but not soggy. Add more stock as needed, then taste and adjust seasonings.
Butter the casseroles, add stuffing, cover, and bake for 45 minutes.
The Armchair
After eating your healthy hot vegan dish, heat it up with your partner by performing this month’s kama sutra position, the armchair.[armchair]
With his hands, the male penetrates his companion with his erection, controlling both the rate and the intensity of the penetration. The female’s legs lean smoothly on the male’s shoulders, who has his head in between and surrounded the female’s thighs. The difficulty that resides in and the intricate nature of this position, makes “the armchair” a different and extremely sensual position.

Hot & Healthy

This month’s Hot & Healthy is dedicated to the women who love women. Oct. 11 is National Coming Out day so snatch your girlfriend up and come out to your parents before indulging in this month’s vegan recipe of Ginger-Brandy Cheesecake (especially if you’re name is Ginger and your girlfriend is Brandy). Although it makes 8-10 servings, save it for your friends not family unless you want mom and dad to get a little randy.
For this recipe, you will need small bowl, wooden spoon, 9 or 10 inch pie plate or springform pan, food processor, small saucepan, whisk and a rubber spatula. The ingredients you’ll need are: 2 c ginger snaps (ground into crumbs), 5 T butter, melted, 12 oz cream cheese (softened), 1.5 c sour cream and/or yogurt, 4 eggs, 1/4 c + 2 T honey or sugar, 1/4 c + 1 T brandy, 2 T fresh ginger, minced, dash of salt, 2 T cornstarch, 3/4 c orange juice, 1/2 t orange zest.
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine ginger snap crumbs and butter, press into pie plate.
Place cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, ¼ c honey, ¼ c brandy, ginger, and salt in food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and add more honey if needed.
Pour into crust and bake until slightly brown on the edges and firm in the middle, about 40 minutes. Let cool. If using a springform pan, remove the rim once cool.
Combine cornstarch and orange juice, and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, for about 5 minutes, until smooth. Remove from heat, and whisk in 2 T honey, T brandy, and zest.
Spread glaze over cheesecake and chill for several hours before serving.
After eating your desert, indulge in your girlfriend with the Cat’s Cradle:
“Direct mutual clitoral stimulation can be difficult to achieve, but is so satisfying that it’s worth the trouble to learn this tricky position.
“With both of your legs open ‘fit’ into each other, so you are like two pairs of scissors pushed together. This way you can meet each other’s vaginas – twist slightly so you can get even closer. If you need to, hold each other’s hands to balance and start working a gentle thrusting and rubbing motion. Once momentum gets going, you’ll be close to giving each other a clitoral orgasm before you know it!”
