Very good article on Pepper Spray. I think the spray would distract an assailant long enough for someone to run away. Better yet, use it in gel form as it sticks to the perpertrator and can’t be wiped off easily. One might add an alarm for their protection as it could bring help & scare off the assailant. There are a few sprays that also have an alarm- 2 in 1.

Thank you for posting this article. Like the old saying goes knowing is half the battle! Educating people through articles like this is so helpful in making people aware of the many dangers every where you go. Many teenage girls going off to college are not aware of the potential dangers of simply just walking to their dorm rooms from class. With the rising number of on campus attacks it is a must to carry some type of self defense product such as pepper spary, stun guns and learing how to use them. Along with buliding confidence, learning the basic rules on being on your own safety in numbers all that making sure you spread the word start a watch group or a club to set a system in place. Love this article!

Even though the pepper spray may not be as strong as what law enforcement uses, the idea behind it is to just give you that extra edge that you didn’t have before to get away and get help.

I agree with you;all female students that do alot of walking on campuses should carry a means of defense such as pepper spray should the need arise!
