SADA Senior Showcase

Editors’ Note: You know Jordan Barnes as TBG’s Sex and Health editor, but he is also a co-chair of SADA’s advertising and public relations committee. That’s how he got the scoop on this story.

After four years of following MSU’s Apparel and Textile Design program, I am graduating, along with people I have grown to call my friends. The Student Apparel Design Association’s (SADA) annual fashion show has been one of the highlights of my year. While I have served as a model, helped backstage and watched from the audience, this will be my first year in the front row. This year’s senior SADA members have a wide range of talent including all types of aesthetics and even several who completed associate’s degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. The SADA annual fashion show will take place Saturday, April 18 at 8 pm. Tickets will go on sale soon. This year’s theme is “Lights, Camera, Fashion.” The Big Green asked the out-going seniors a few questions about themselves and their responses are as follows.

TBG: WHERE DO YOU DRAW INSPIRATION AS A DESIGNER?
