Taste and Tour of Old Town
This event is a progressive food sampler and loft tour that gives you a chance to experience the culinary best that Old Town Lansing has to offer. The tour, which begins at the corner of Turner and Grand River Avenue, is from noon to 3 p.m. on April 6.
Habibi Dancers Spring Concert
The Habibi Dancers are celebrating 25 years of bringing Middle Eastern dancing to East Lansing. The performance will be at the Hannah Community Center on April 19 at 8 p.m.
The Peppermint Creek Theatre Company will be putting on this play by David Hare April 24-May 3. “Stuff Happens” is a historical narrative and human drama about power and diplomacy.
Great Lakes Myth Society, Canada! and Frontier Ruckus
All three of these local favorites will be performing at Mac’s Bar on April 4 at 9 p.m.
Pianist Rich Ridenour will perform pop piano classics, including Rhapsody in Blue, with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra at the Wharton Center on April 11.
April 17-19 will be MSU’s 28th annual Jazz Spectacular. These three days will be filled with jazz performances, workshops and events. See the College of Music Web site for more details.
